There exists a tangible relationship between differences in lifestyles cultural goods. In doing so, the purpose of the present study was to identify the relationship between Islamic-Iranian lifestyle and cultural consumption of citizens in Gorgan during 2016-2017 and it was conducted as a survey method on the basis of sociologists' theories. The statistical population of the citizens more than 18 years old in Gorgan was 350,676 people and 384 people were selected as a sample based on cluster sampling and systematic random sampling and they were asked to fill out the questionnaire. The instrument of the present study was a researcher-made questionnaire, which was formally validated by a group of experts with a high degree of reliability (Cronbach's alpha coefficient = ۹۱۷/۰). The SPSS software was used for the data analysis. In this regard, ‘demographic characteristics’, ‘ranges, levels, and diversity of cultural consumption’ and ‘levels of lifestyle’ of citizens in Gorgan were identified by with descriptive analysis of the data. Furthermore, the correlational relationships between independent variables, i.e. ‘background’, ‘personal’ and ‘structural’ variables, and the dependent variable, i.e. ‘cultural consumption of Gorgan citizens’, have been tested based on research hypotheses in inferential analysis of the data. The results of correlation analysis between lifestyle and cultural consumption show the relationship between the two main variables of the research study (r = ۴۰۹/۰). Furthermore, the regression analysis and path analysis showed that ۳/۳۷% of the variation of dependent variable was explained by primary and secondary independent variables of the research
